Dr. Rick Barrantes Agüero previously served as Assistant Conductor with the Temple University Symphony Orchestra and Penn Symphony Orchestras (University of Pennsylvania). He has also worked as a guest conductor with the following ensembles: Berks Sinfonietta, American Modern Ensemble, Mostly Modern Orchestra, Cairn University Symphony Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, PYO's Young Musicians Debut Orchestra, PIMF's Young Artists' Orchestra, and Delaware Orchestral Institute. His repertoire encompasses a vast range of symphonic and chamber music, from the Baroque period to contemporary works, including several world premieres. He has studied with JoAnn Falleta, Kensho Watanabe, and José Luis Domínguez.
